Halsey Institute
The Halsey Institute is pleased to begin 2013 with an exhibition of work by contemporary New York based artist Lesley Dill. Entitled, Poetic Visions: From Shimmer to Sister Gertrude Morgan, the exhibition “invites audiences to delve into art, literature, spirituality, feminism — even fashion”, says curator Barbara Matilsky, who worked closely with Dill to mount this traveling exhibition.
The gallery walk-through on Saturday January 26, 2pm with Lesley Dill is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Poetic Visions: From Shimmer to Sister Gertrude Morgan will be on display at the Halsey Institute from January 25 – March 9, 2013.
