The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art is excited to announce a month-long giving campaign. Invest in our programming and help the Halsey Institute thrive as a platform for experimentation for artists from around the world. Through the exhibitions we produce, we spur important conversations about the most pressing topics of our time. Together with our members and visitors, we have built an important community resource providing barrier-free access to adventurous contemporary art for everyone.
Now is a great time to support us with a donation or membership. We have a match of $25,000 from an anonymous donor this year to maximize your support. In addition to our current membership benefits and our new virtual members-only events, we are offering exciting perks for everyone that participates during the month of May!
All contributions directly support our upcoming exhibitions, public programs, educational opportunities, and free admission to the galleries.
Join or renew your membership during these dates and you can be one of the lucky folks to win a scarf by summer 2019’s exhibiting artist Jennifer Wen Ma. Digital prints on high quality poly-georgette and hand-hemmed in New York City, these limited editions could be hung as tapestries, mounted in a frame, or worn as scarves. $50 value. We’ll be drawing three names for this raffle.
Join or renew your membership during these dates and you will be entered into a raffle to win two tickets to the exclusive donor reception for one of our upcoming exhibitions. Image left is from Namsa Leuba: Crossed Looks. Meet the artist, curator, and exhibition supporters at a private reception. We’ll be drawing five names for this raffle.
Keep a close eye on our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) and your email inbox every Monday in May for flash giveaways! The first ten people to donate, join, or renew will get great prizes like the brand new design of our Halsey tote bags, a free publication of your choice, a private exhibition tour, and lunch with our upcoming artists.
