Since graduating from the College of Charleston in 2000, Meghan Henley's style has developed from a focus on primal fertility goddesses into conceptual and mainly nonfigurative compositions. She is currently attempting to present a shape or figure in a more abstract and less representational manner.

Composition II: This painting is from a series of abstract compositions that were created without preconception. The composition as well as palette is spontaneous and unprompted.
